Colombia Driver's License Requirements:
- Colombia Visa
- Cedula (Colombia Identification)
- 2 Photo Copies of Cedula
- 2 Color Photos (same size as Cedula Photos)
- 1 Photo Copy of Certificate of Blood Type
- 140,000 Pesos
You must have a Colombian Visa and Cedula (Colombian Identification) to obtain a driver's license. You are required to take and pass a reflex & logic test, hearing, vision and health exam, but no driving test. You can apply for a license at any Colombian driving school and there are many in Medellin. When you apply at one of the schools they will process your application, direct you to Centro de Reconocimiento a Conductores (CRC) to complete a driver's license test and medical exam, and then provide you with your license in approximately 2 days.

-AUTO-PASES ENVIGADO: TEL: 276-7290 (Envigado, map location)
-ENSEÑAR ENVIGADO: TEL: 270-9332
If you do not have a Colombia Drivers License and rent a car or drive a friends car we recommend the following:
Always carry your Driver's License and Passport (or copy of your passport) and a cell phone for safety.
Before you travel to Colombia, visit any AAA office for your International Driving Permit. Bring your valid U.S. driver’s license, $15.00, and two original passport-type photos. You will be issued the permit while you wait at the AAA office. Valid in over 150 countries, the permit contains your name, photo and driver information translated into ten languages.
