Strategically located in one of Medellin's most prestigious neighborhoods, El Poblado, the hotel is within easy walking distance to the finest restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shopping malls (Oviedo).
Room Accommodations (excellent)
Wireless Internet is available for 11,600 pesos for 24 hours. The connnection was excellent and never failed.
Front Desk Staff (excellent)
The bilingual front desk staff was excellent. All staff members were always eager to help or assist with any item or issue. Passports and identification were required for all individuals staying in the room.

This hotel excels in providing personal service and has the best hotel staff we have encountered in Medellin, Colombia. All staff members have a "can do" attitude and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

The Hotel’s Restaurant Spezia is spectacular! Serving the best of fusion cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a unique setting along with a great view of the patio and pool area from 6:00 AM until midnight. An elaborate, complementary, buffet breakfast is served in the Spezia each morning until 10:30 AM. You can help yourself to an array of fresh fruits, cheeses, rice and beans, bacon or pork and a delicious chicken recipe that varies each morning. A chef is at your service to cook your eggs to perfection including pancakes or waffles that is served to your table. The dinning area is opulent with large comfortable tables and chairs covered with pure white linens, elaborate place settings and silverware set to impress anyone. The table service is excellent and the hotel staff goes out of their way to make your dining experience special. The Colombian coffee and hot chocolate is the best we’ve tasted.
The San Fernando Hotel’s Lobby Bar is a perfect place to sit back and relax after a long day and enjoy your favorite cocktail while listening to live piano music. During the day or evening you can visit the Palma Azzul Terrazzo for informal dining and liquors on the large patio while enjoying the view of the pool.
